Equinox Corporation has been awarded a Phase II SBIR contract from the Marines (MARCOR) for the development of a unique soldier system that will augment the use of thermal infrared and visible/intensified imaging for dismounted infantry. The system enables seamless transitioning between viewing through a rifle-mounted thermal weapon site (TWS) and viewing with a helmet mounted intensified/visible camera.

Equinox has produced groundbreaking technology for providing fusion of thermal infrared and visible modalities to the dismounted soldier as well as to Naval, Aerial and Biometric systems. In polarimetry Equinox has unsurpassed expertise in many types of imaging systems. Equinox is currently developing a number of automatic target detection, tracking and recognition systems.
