Equinox awarded $425K Navy contract for watercraft surveillance system using visible/thermal infrared fusion. This is a unique sensor/algorithm system package that uses visible and thermal infrared imaging modalities, individually or fused together, for real-time detection, tracking and monitoring of watercraft. It will be capable of operating on a floating buoy platform and eventually capable of operating within a wide area network of sensors.
