Equinox's patented liquid crystal polarization measuring technology
can be modularly installed on any existing video camera system. A
dual-cell liquid crystal optical aperture (below) enables rapid serial
acquisition of perfectly registered polarization component
images. This optical aperture is conveniently installed in a filter
mount that can be easily adapted to any lens diameter size. The liquid
crystal aperture is interfaced to the parallel port of a PC via a
small electronic box enabling electro-optical switching of the
aperture with Windows 95/98/NT 4.0 compatible Equinox software.
Liquid crystal polarization systems have been sold to universities,
research laboratories and industry world-wide.
