Equinox's visible polarization imager, show here with an underwater
housing, measures 3 out of the 4 Stokes' parameters: intensity,
degree of linear partial polarization, and orientation of the
linearly polarized light. It is designed with custom low-distortion
optics, allowing an effective resolution of 512 by
512, and can aquire 12 bit depth images at a rate of 15 frames per
second.
